We are excited to announce our new quarterly newsletter, News From The Nest.

The Seaford Community Concert Association (SCCA) recently held an Outreach Master Class for the Seaford Middle School Drama group. They are in preparation for their performance of Moana that will be presented later this year under the direction of Danielle Koppie. The program was led by Irish singer and star of many musicals in London’s West End David Shannon and Broadway music director Adam Wiggins. The 90-minute session included Q&A, vocal exercises, and mock auditions. The program gave the students insights into the lives of real Broadway performers.

The Seaford School District Board of Education has named Mr. Patches Hill as the new Director of Administrative Services. He is currently our Supervisor of Technology. Congratulations, Patches!

This week is National School Lunch Week and there is no better way to celebrate than to highlight our outstanding Nutrition Services staff. We have 45 employees that work hard each day to meet the nutritional needs of our students.

Due to the forecast of rain and thunderstorms we have made the decision to cancel the homecoming parade scheduled for this evening at 6:00. We apologize for the late notice but the change of forecast moving the rain and storms up earlier in the evening had us make this call out of an abundance of caution. The football game with homecoming activities at halftime is still scheduled to take place with kick off at Bob Dowd Stadium at 7:00PM.
