A Message from Dr. Miklus As Governor Carney Closes Delaware Schools for Two Weeks

Dear Seaford Staff and Families:

In accordance with Governor Carney’s decision, and in order to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the Seaford School District will be closed beginning on Monday, March 16, 2020 until March 27, 2020.

The District will continue to keep families informed through various communication tools, including our district website seafordbluejays.org

Governor Carney Closes All Delaware Schools for Two Weeks

Governor Carney has just announced that all Delaware schools will be closed for the next two weeks. Seaford School District will be closed from March 16th through March 27 until further notice. Seaford's Referendum Passed!

Seaford's Referendum Passed! - The Seaford School District extends its sincere appreciation to our community for supporting the referendum that was approved on March 4, 2020. The passage of this referendum will make a significant difference in the district’s ability to maintain quality educational programs, services and opportunities for children, offset decreasing State revenues, and minimize the impact of future budget reductions on student programs. The school district extends its thanks to so many individuals from our community whose tireless efforts and passion helped pass this referendum in which every vote counted. "Party Like a Rockstar" to Celebrate World Down Syndrome Day

Everyone is welcome to attend "Party Like a Rockstar" on Saturday, March 14th from 5-8 p.m. at the Seaford Boys and Girls Club. This community event to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day will include music, dancing, ice cream and refreshments, pictures, a silent auction and raffle items. Rock Your Socks will be available to purchase for $2/pair. The cost for this event is Adults - $3, Children under 12 - $2, Individuals with Down Syndrome - $1. The Event is Sponsored by Down Syndrome Association of Delaware.
