Blades Elementary and Frederick Douglass Elementary Caravan

There will be a neighborhood caravan for the Blades/Fred zone on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at 5:00. Staff members will be “parading” through our students’ communities with signs and balloons. A Blades firetruck will be leading the way! Please join us from your front porch or doorstep as we "say hi" to all of our students we miss so much!

Starting Tuesday, April 7th, the Seaford Wellness Center will be available by telephone for counseling and medical consultation for students already registered with the Wellness Center. Students and parents can call the Wellness Center:

SHS Students Place in State Level CTE Competitions

Several Seaford High Students placed in their Career and Technology Education (CTE) organization at the State level. By placing in the State level competition, these students qualified for their respective organization's national competition.

Kindergarten Registration Postponed

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Governor Carney's declaration for social distancing, gatherings of 10 or less people and to stay at home Seaford School District's Kindergarten Registration is postponed.

"Party Like a Rockstar" to Celebrate World Down Syndrome Day

Everyone is welcome to attend "Party Like a Rockstar" on Saturday, March 14th from 5-8 p.m. at the Seaford Boys and Girls Club. This community event to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day will include music, dancing, ice cream and refreshments, pictures, a silent auction and raffle items. Rock Your Socks will be available to purchase for $2/pair. The cost for this event is Adults - $3, Children under 12 - $2, Individuals with Down Syndrome - $1. The Event is Sponsored by Down Syndrome Association of Delaware.
