Beginning today Monday, February 1, 2021, the food trucks will stop their meal distribution operations temporarily for the month of February. This decision was due to low temperatures and unsafe wind chills that jeopardize the safety of the staff, the children and the adults who are involved with the food trucks daily.
The food truck operations will be reviewed again near the end of the month of February to determine whether the food truck routes will re-open in March, pending warmer temperatures.
As a substitute to the receiving food truck meals, please take full advantage of the evening meal box program on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Evening meal boxes will be available for pick-up at Blades ES, West Seaford ES and Seaford HS from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.
The Monday box will consists of 3-days’ worth of students meals including breakfast & lunch.
The Wednesday box will consist of 4-days’ worth of student meals including breakfast & lunch.
Starting this evening, we look forward to seeing our food truck patrons participate in the evening meal box program either Blades ES, West Seaford ES or the Seaford HS locations.
