DIAA Board of Directors in their April 9th board meeting introduced a way to acknowledge and support our student-athletes whose sport season has been impacted by COVID-19.
On Friday April 24, 2020, all outdoor athletics facilities in the State of Delaware have been asked to operate their stadium and facility lights at 8:00PM for 20 minutes and 20 seconds as a sign of support to interscholastic athletics. This is particularly important for our high school seniors, the class of 2020, who have had their senior seasons impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
