COVID-19 Learning Opportunities
The Seaford School District is delivering optional self-paced learning opportunities to help keep your child engaged in the educational process while school is closed.
As a Seaford student, your child has direct access to online learning options. These resources can be accessed from home if you have a computer and the internet in your home. Your child can access any and all of these resources in the event that schools are not in session. If you choose to use the online resources, a card is included in the mailing, sent out on March 20, 2020, with your child's login information..
For families who do not have access to a device or the internet (or those who just want a break from the computer for their child), we have also provided a menu of offline activities. We appreciate you taking the time to look at these learning opportunities with your child while helping stop the spread of COVID 19 in the State of Delaware..
The learning opportunities are not mandatory. They are optional, ungraded, and meant as a way for you and your child to stay engaged with learning. Use your discretion as a parent to determine how long your student can spend on academic pursuits in the home before taking a break or moving to a different activity. This is a potentially stressful time; we urge you to take care of your physical and mental health by taking time to do preferred activities when possible.
